This tax haven is popular mainly because of its location - in Europe. Companies do not pay any tax on their income from anywhere in the world (with the exception of Gibraltar), but they must submit a shortened financial statement once a year. Establishing a company takes about a week and a verified copy of a passport is required, as well as a document with the name and address not older than three months, bank references in English, a filled in and signed order.
An offshore company registered in Gibraltar must have at least one director who may be of any nationality. If you do not want to be the company director for any reason, you can use the services of a nominee director.
Shares must be registered, bearer shares are not permitted. If you do not want to appear in the company as a shareholder, you can use the service of a nominee shareholder.
The costs of establishing an offshore company in Gibraltar, including a registered office, registration agent, secretary, standard company documents verified by a notary and Apostille, share certificates, stamp and delivery by courier are EUR 2,400.
The fees for additional years (registered office, registration agent, flat tax) are EUR 1,200.
Optional services to keep directors and shareholders anonymous:
Nominee director - natural person EUR 650 a year (including one general Power of attorney and an undated resignation verified by a Notary with Apostille)
Nominee shareholder - corporate body EUR 650 a year (including a Declaration of Trust, verified by a Notary with Apostille)
